AG Community Playthrough 68: Yoomurjak’s Ring
Go to a tourist bureau, maybe you’ll get lucky there.
Or maybe checking out the pharmacy with the dodgy poster might be more fun?
Evi A tourist bureau still looks more promising to me, it’s a sure bet.
I still think that bureau was only a front (for an escort agency or something).
It could always be worse, remember that.

There were more than one scene that had an almost soft porn feel to them… At least three young women could hardly stay in their clothes when they encountered Jonathan.
Anyway; I very much enjoyed playing Yoomurjak this time around! Having struggled through it once before helped a bit. There are some problems with the (lack of) clues to puzzles and it’s easy to get stuck by simply not knowing what the game expects you to do, but overall it’s a terrific game!
My thoughts exactly, Veovis. I agree with everything you said.
You and other players had summed it all up, so I can’t think of anything new I could say about the Yoomurjak’s Ring.
I can only recommend it to folks who like adventure games with intriguing plot and (somewhat) tough* puzzles.
*Just don’t expect anything of Schizm magnitude.
It could always be worse, remember that.

I agree with the soft porn feelings. They might have annoyed me more, but the men seemed to be just as enamored by Jonathan, so it didn’t come off all male gazey.
I also think the ending went overboard but there were no jumping sharks. It was still the same game, just to the maximum.
I have wishlisted Miazma so I can grab it with a discount price some time in the future.

Is it okay to unpin this thread now or are there still people playing?
I don’t really rise and shine. I caffeinate and hope for the best.
Not many people posting lately. Maybe its time for a new game.
I unpinned the thread, but you can locate it again under “Game Recommendations & Important/Popular Threads” by scrolling down to Community Playthroughs.

0.81 euro actually. Also from the trailer it certainly looks interesting. Can anyone that has finished it comment about the difficulty. If it is same level as Yoomurjak’s Ring is a no from me.

Miazma is much easier than Yoomurjak’s Ring. I’m confident saying that even though several years have passed since I last played them.

Yes, it is. You learn a lot about physics and the last puzzle is great.
Currently translating Strangeland into Spanish. Wish me luck, or send me money to my Paypal haha
Thanks, maybe i should try it then. Its just 1 euro anyway, even if i dont end liking it.

I’ve been playing Miazma on and off for a few weeks but for different reasons I haven’t progressed very far into it. The interface is the same as the iOS version of Yoomurjak and Miazma has an almost casual feel to it. FMV is very little part of the gameplay, so far at least. Miazma is closer in style to a Carol Reed game rather than to Yoomurjak’s Ring.
So far I’m enjoying it, but I’m a bit disappointed there is no option to listen to the dialogues in original Hungarian.
